Songs They Know by Heart
Bob Farley has been playing guitar and singing for senior communities for more than a dozen years — the Sinatra standards, the Hank Williams classics, the Elvis hits that made everybody jump. The American Songbook is still home base.
But the residents keep getting younger. These days a room lights up just as fast for the Beatles, the Everly Brothers, James Taylor, and a little Eagles. Bob's repertoire has grown to meet them — the '50s, '60s, and well into the '70s, played live and sung by heart.
"Bob Farley engages my residents with his array of songs from various time periods and genres. They leave his performances with smiles and requests to have him back soon." — Linda Shaver, Life Enrichment Director, The Woodlands of Middletown, OH
